What are the methods for Emirates airlines flight check-in
While booking on Emirates, you will have the options for check-in:
- Via Online
- Through the mobile app
- At airport counter
Check-in Online for Emirates
In order to check-in online for the Emirates booking:
i) Type www.emirates.com on the search bar of the browser.
ii) Next tap on the option ‘Manage to book or check-in.
iii) After that, enter the last name, and booking ID.
iv) Now tap on the ‘Check in’ tab.
v) Then, pick the name that you wish to check-in
vi) If necessary fill in the name of the advance passenger information.
vii) Now complete the process of web check-in.
With the online check-in, you have the advantage of modifying the seat or adding the seat as per your requirements or you can add the missing numbers of Emirates Skywards.
If you want you can check-in in the following ways:
i) Click at www.emirates.com.
ii) Tap the ‘Manage’ tab and proceed to choose ‘Check-in online.
iii) Next, enter the last name and the booking details and after that tap the option ‘Retrieve Booking’.
iv) Now, pick the passenger name that you wish to check-in.
v) Lastly, complete the web check-in process.
What are the things to be followed after online check in
A few things you need to follow after check-in:
- At the selected airports the e-boarding pass will be issued.
- Print the pass and show it at the boarding gate.
- You can acquire the boarding pass from the airport counter.
- You can proceed for online check in:
- furnish the travel documents at the airport desk online.
- Request the executive to provide you with the receipt as you had not received it after one check-in.
A few tips on Emirates Check-in
- Make sure to be early at the airport i.e 3 hours prior to the departure.
- You need to do the check in process 60 minutes prior to the departure.
The time for Boarding:
- Opens 45 minutes prior to departure.
- Closes at 20 minutes prior to the scheduled flight’s departure.
- Ensure that you have much time for baggage check-in, security check, etc at the airport.
Mobile app check-in on Air Emirates
- Click on the app on the smartphone.
- Next, hit the Manage Booking option.
- Type the details of the passenger that you want to check-in.
- Select the name and complete the process.
Check-in at the Emirates Airport
Visit the airport for check-in at the counter desk. Provide the passport and travelling documents at the counter.
- Baggage check in at the counter
- Select the seat.
- Get the boarding pass
The time to reach the Emirates Airport
i) For baggage check-in: You need to be present 90 minutes prior to departure of the flight so that you can know the baggage size.
ii) No baggage check-in: Attend 60 minutes prior to the flight’s departure.
iii) For Economy Class ticket: If the check-in is not done online then you are required to be present 3 hours prior to the time of the departure.
iv) Business Class ticket: 1 hour prior to the scheduled flight departure.
If you are under 18 of age then you cannot opt for online check-in. The time for check-in through the mobile app is the same as the online method on Emirates Airline.
